Bush Hall

SUN!!
So much sun and it makes such a difference. I’ve had the good luck to be out in it most of the time since it arrived. That said, last night I had to be indoors to play Bush Hall, supporting Athena. What a great night, playing on the stage that has hosted acts like Kings of Leon, Feist, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Ray LaMontagne, Lily Allen , R.E.M……The list goes on. It was truly special to play there. I also got to sit through Athena’s two hour soundcheck which was certainly something to see. It was all worth it though as she sounded lovely on the night, or rather later that night as she finished sound checking at seven pm.

So the gig went well, or so they tell me, and I had a chance to do an interview with a natty lad named Patrick from www.neverenoughnotes.com
I shall post it when it appears. We bonded over Sergio Leone and Feist so it was a lot of fun really. Although I had just run half a mile after giving someone a pair of keys which they had forgotten. Running….it’s not my thing.
Today I’m back in the studio to write a song in this glorious sunshine but before that we are having a meeting with someone who has an idea for a video for my track Good Year. Fingers crossed for visual genius.
